Sweet Potato Pie

Tips:
For a more dense pie, use 1 1/2 cups mashed sweet potatoes rather than just 1 cup. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream and a dash of ground nutmeg or crystallized ginger.

• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1 2/3 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup evaporated milk
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 1/4 cup light corn syrup
• 3 tablespoons flour
• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• pinch of salt
• 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
