- 2-3/4 cups flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 cup butter
- 1-3/4 cups sugar, divided
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Stir together flour and baking powder; set aside. In large saucepan, melt margarine over very low heat. Remove from heat, stir in 1-1/2 cups sugar and the eggs until smooth. Gradually stir in flour mixture until a smooth, soft dough forms. Cover tight; refrigerate at least one hour or up to 3 days before baking. In a small bowl, mix remaining 1/4 cup sugar with the cinnamon. Drop rounded tsp. of dough on sugar mixture; turn to coat well. Place 2 inches apart on greased sheet. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven 8 to 12 minutes or until slightly firm. Cool on sheet 1 minute; remove to racks to cool completely.
