Ingredients
- 3 TBS butter
- 3/4 cup orzo
- 3/4 cup (3 oz) yellow onion (finely diced)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 3/4 cup uncooked white rice
- 3 cups chicken broth

Preparation
Step 1
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat. Stir in orzo and cook until golden brown. Stir in onion and cook until onion becomes translucent. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in rice and chicken broth. Increase heat to high and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until the rice is tender and liquid has been absorbed (20-25 minutes). Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff and serve.
