Ingredients
- 16 black tea bags
- 1 gallon water
- 1 cup honey
- 2 onions, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 red pepper diced
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- Salt and Pepper
- 2 tablespoons chili flakes
- 2 racks, pork baby back ribs
- Rib Rub
- 2 tablespoons smokey paprika
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons salt

Preparation
Step 1
1. Pre-heat oven to 275, brew tea, remove tea bags and add honey
2. In a large pot, caramelize onions, red pepper and garlic. Add tea mix, apple cider vinegar,salt and pepper, chili flakes and bring to a boil.
3. Place ribs in a large roasting pan and pour in the tea mixture from above, covering the ribs about 3/4 of the way. Braise in oven for about 2 hours or until meat pulls away from the bone. Remove ribs from the braising liquid and let cool.
4. Mix the rib rub. Generously spread over the ribs. Cook ribs over hot grill until caramelized.
5. Cut and serve
