Step 1
Cover eggs with water and bring to a boil. Remove eggs from heat and cover pan for 3 minutes.
Drain water from pan and replace with cold water to stop eggs from further cooking.
Crack and remove eggs from shell onto hot buttered toast. Add salt and pepper to taste.
