Spaghetti Meat Sauce in Crockpot

Ingredients

• 1/2 lb. sweet or italian sausage
• 1 lb. hamburger
• 1 small chopped onion
• 1 chopped green pepper
• 2 minced cloves garlic
• 2 T. sugar
• 1 T. salt
• 2 tsp. basil leaves
• 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
• 2 cans diced italian style tomatos
• 1 (18-oz.) can tomato sauce
• 1 (6-oz.) can tomato paste
• 1 small can sliced olives
• 1 small can sliced mushrooms or 1/2 lb. fresh

Preparation

Step 1

Brown sausage and hamburger; drain well. In crockpot combine meat, onion, green pepper, garlic, sugar, salt, basil leaves, red pepper, tomatos, tomato sauce and paste. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 hours. Add mushrooms and olives the last hour.
