Best meatloaf ever! My grandsons tell their friends-"My gramma makes the best meatloaf ." And I take the compliment as my own! Paula-wish I'd of made your wonderful meatloaf years ago, so my husband could of bragged like that! My measurements were all wrong! The simple topping is superb!

Made this last night EXACTLY as written and it was WONDERFUL! My husband and I both loved it and could not eat all that we would like to have. So very easy to make. Best I have ever in 35 years. I did NOT and would NOT change anything.

Question: bake covered or uncovered? We are snowed in today and decided to make my favorite meal. First time with your meatloaf recipe; can't wait! Like others have said here when I wanted a new recipe the only place I thought to go was to Paula Deen! Admire the lady and love her recipes!

Your meatloaf recipe has become my all time favorite. I tried for 45 + years to make a great meatloaf. Failed every time. It always came out too dry, too this and too that. The is a perfect meatloaf every single time. You are the best Paula. Many thanks. Hope you and the family will be blessed this coming new year.

Many thanks,
Hazel

Just put this meatloaf in the oven, added some yellow and red peppers, veg. Seasoning. My daughter is allergic to soy, tree nuts and peanuts.... I love recipes that have wholesome ingredients, not a lot of processed foods. Thank you Paula!! All the best to you and yours?

I have made this a couple of time and the DH loves it. I make it gluten free by changing to GF oats. Making it again tonight
