Ingredients

  • Bottom Crust:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup nuts, chopped
  • Filling:
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Topping:
  • 1 large can Bartlett pears, drained and cut in wedges
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Combine butter and sugar and mix well. Add vanilla, flour and nuts. press in bottom of 9x9" pan. Bake 10 minutes in 350 degree oven. Take pan out of oven and set aside.

Beat filling ingredients until smooth and pour on crust and set aside.

Place pears on cream cheese filling. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
