Ingredients
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 - 14 ounce bottle of ketchup
- 2 tablespoons of light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of yellow mustard
- 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons of cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of hot red pepper sauce
- 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground hot red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of liquid smoke

Preparation
Step 1
Heat the oil in a medium, heavy bottomed saucepan over medium heat.
Add the garlic and cook, stirring, until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Stir in the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce,
to a simmer, stirring. Reduce the heat to low. Cook at a simmer,
stirring often to avoid scorching, about 15 minutes. Remove from the
heat and stir in the liquid smoke. Use immediately or cool
