Ingredients
- 3 T. butter
- 3 T. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 c. milk
- 6 potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 c. sharp shredded cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter and flour; cook until smooth, about 3 minutes. Stir in salt and pepper. Gradually add milk. Cook until thickened. Add cheese and cook until melted. Add potatoes. Cover and simmer 8 minutes. Pour into baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
