Ingredients
- 1 Large Onion
- 1/4 cup butter, cubed
- 4 to 5 pound fryer chicken pieces
- 2 T Paprika
- 1 tsp sale
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1 1/2 cups hot water
- 2 T constarch
- 2 T cold water
- 1 cup (8oz) sour cream

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onion in butter until tender
Sprinkle chicken with paprika, salt, and pepper: Place n a ungreased roasting pan. Spoon onion mixture over chicken, and add water.
Cover anbd Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours until chicken juices run clear.
Remove chicken and keep warm. In a small pan, combine cornstarch and cold water until smooth. Whisk in pan juices with onion. Bring to a boil over medium heat: cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat, Stir in sour crean, Serve with chicken,. 6 servings
