Barbecued Flank Steak

Ingredients
- 1/3 cuo ketchup
- 1/4 c molasses
- 1/4 cup steak sauce
- 1/2 cup olive oil & vinegar salad dressing
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 lb flank steak
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cracked pepper

Preparation
Step 1
In bowl, combine ketchup, molasses and steak sauce. Transfer half of mixture to plastic food storage bag; add 1/3 c salad dressing and garlic. Add steak, seal bag and refrigerate 2 hours, turning over once.
Add remaining salad dressing to remaining ketchup mixture, reserve. Preheat grill for direct heat cooking, Remove steak from marinade, letting excess drip off. Sprinkle both sides of steak with salt and pepper.
Place steak on grill. Cook 5 minutes, turn over. Grill 4 - 5 minutes for medium-rare, brushing several times with reserved ketchup mixture. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. serve with
NO-GRILL OPTION:
Position broiler rack so that top of steak on pan will be 4-inches from heat source. Preheat broiler. Broil 4 - 5 minutes for medium-rare, brushing with reserved ketchup mixture during last 2 minutes.
