Ingredients
- Stuffing:
- Two recipes thin crust pizza dough
- 8 oz fresh baby spinach
- 8 oz grated Mozzarella cheese
- Sauce:
- 42 oz canned crushed tomatoes, drained
- 2 T olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp fresh basil (1 tsp dried)
- 1 clove garlic, crushed or pressed
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan

Step 1
Make the dough and allow to rise, divide into two pieces. Preheat oven to 475.
Place one piece of rolled out dough into deep dish pizza pan. Cover with spinach and cheese. Cover with second rolled-out crust and crimp the edges to seal. Cut slit in center to allow steam to escape. Combine the tomatoes and spices and spread over top crust. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
Bake on lowest rack for 10 minutes. Move to higher rack and bake an additional 25-30 minutes or until crust is lightly browned.
