Ingredients

- 300 ml parmesan cheese, grated 1 1/4 cup
- 1 ml salt 1/2 tsp
- .5 ml pepper 1/8 tsp
- 1 ml nutmeg 1/4 tsp
- 6 potatoes, peeled & thinly sliced 6
- 90 ml butter 6 tbsp
- 125 ml cream 1/2 cup
- 125 ml swiss cheese, grated 1/2 cup
- 25 ml chives, chopped 2 tbsp

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 F (200 C). Mix together parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Layer potatoes in a buttered 2 quart (2 L) casserole dish, sprinkling each layer with the cheese mixture. Dot with butter and cover tightly; bake for one hour. Uncover and pour cream over the top. Sprinkle with swiss cheese. Bake uncovered for 5 minutes until cheese melts. Sprinkle with chives before serving.
