Ingredients
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 pounds chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon oregano
- up to 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (I use 1/4 tsp)

Step 1
Slow-Cooker Method: Combine everything in a slow cooker and cook on low heat for 8 hours. If using ginger root,
remove root after 5 hours.
