Ingredients

  • 2 cups cake and pastry flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 . Tsp vanilla
  • 3 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup boiling water

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine flour, baking soda and set aside.

Best butter until creamy and add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Best in vanilla and chocolate. Add reserved dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Stir in boiling water and pour batter into prepared pan and bake 18-20 minutes.
