Ingredients

  • 8 eggs, separated
  • 2 - 6 oz packages chocolate chips, about 1 7/8 cups
  • 10 T (5 oz) unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup brandy or 2 tsp brandy flavouring

Preparation

Step 1

In top of a double boiler melt chocolate and butter. Beat in egg yolks one at a time. Remove from heat. Stir in brandy or flavouring. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold chocolate mixture into the egg whites. Turn into serving bowl. Chill overnight. Decorate with whipped cream and chocolate curls if desired. Serves 8-10.
