Ingredients

  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 Quart Buttermilk
  • 1/4 C Salad Oil
  • 1 Cup Cream (or evaporated milk)
  • 1 pkg Dry Yeast
  • 4 Cups Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons Baking Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Baking Soda
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt

Preparation

Step 1

Beat eggs. Add buttermilk, salad oil, cream and yeast. Combine, then add flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt. Stir thoroughly. Set in the refrigerator overnight. Remove and cook pancakes on hot griddle as needed.


May be kept up to one week, add flour to thicken as necessary.
