Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Yukon gold potatoes
  • 3/4 c whole milk
  • 1/2 c sour cream
  • 1 stick cut up unsalted butter
  • 1/4 c prepared horseradish
  • salt and pepper
  • chopped chives

Preparation

Step 1

Cut potatoes (peeled if desired) into 2-in chunks and place in a large pot with 1 t kosher salt and enough cold water to cover. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, 20-25 mins. Drain and mash with milk, sour cream, butter and horseradish; season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with copped chives.
