Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. pork
- 2 T. shortening
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/2 green pepper, cut in strips
- 1/2 red pepper, cut in strips
- 1 cube chicken bouillon
- 1 16-oz. can pineapple tidbits
- 2 T. cornstarch
- 1 T. soy sauce
- 1 onion, sliced thin
- Hot cooked rice or
- Chow Mein noodles

Preparation
Step 1
1. Brown pork in shortening. Add 1-1/2 c. water, bouillon, salt. Simmer 1 hour. Drain pineapple, save juice
2. Combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Add pineapple juice, vinegar, soy sauce, salt. Cook until thick and bubbly.
Add sauce to pork. Add pineapple, pepper, onion. Cook until veggies are tender-crisp.
3. Serve over rice or chow mein noodles
