Ingredients

  • 1 qt oil for deep frying
  • 2 8-oz pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 1 12-oz pkg imitation crabmeat
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 2 t sesame oil
  • 1 T minced garlic
  • 3 T Worcestershire
  • 1 bunch green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 14-oz pkg wonton wrappers
  • 2 egg whites

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oil in large heavy saucepan or deep fryer to 375 degrees.

2. Combine cheese, crab, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, worcestershire & onion. Place 1 teaspoon in center of each wonton wrapper.

3. Place egg whites in small bowl. Using fingers, spread egg white over two edges of wonton wrappers. Fold into triangles and press to seal edges.

4. In small batches, deep fry until golden brown, 2-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
