Ingredients
- Jiffy Cornbread Mix (follow mix directions)
- 1 lb. Jimmy Dean sausage
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream style corn
- 1/2 c. chopped or sliced jalapeno
- 1/2 c. chopped onion

Preparation
Step 1
Brown sausage and onion, drain off excess fat. Set aside. Combine cornbread mix and cream style corn in small bowl. Pour 1/2 of corn/cornbread mixture into bottom of iron skillet. Layer sausage, jalapeno and cheese. Add remaining cornbread mixture. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
Note: For best results use iron skillet. Grease and sprinkle small amount of dry cornbread mix. Place in oven until lightly browned to keep from sticking.
