Ingredients
- 5-6 egg whites
- 1 2/2 cups of sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup lukewarm melted butter
- ¼ cup melted shortening
- 1 cup flour
- ¾ cup chopped blanched almonds

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven at 350.
2. Beat whites with sugar and salt.
3. Add butter and shortening.
4. Add flour and almonds.
5. Drop by tablespoons on ungreased baking sheet.
6. Bake 8-10 minutes – cool 30 seconds and remove.
