Ingredients
- • 1 egg
- • 1 cup buttermilk or soured milk*
- • 2 tbsp. oil
- • 1 cup flour
- • 1 tbsp. sugar
- • 1 tsp. baking powder
- • ½ tsp. soda
- • ½ tsp. salt
- * To sour milk; mix 1 tbsp. lemon juice in measuring cup. Add enough milk to bring to 1 cup.

Step 1
Beat egg; add remaining ingredients in order listed and mix until fully blended. (do not over beat)
Grease griddle. Pour batter onto hot griddle. Turn pancakes when puffed and full of bubbles – but before bubbles break.
