Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup (9) chopped roma plum tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons (1sm. = 11T) diced red onion
- 1 large (3/4t) clove garlic minced
- 2 teaspoons (4-6 small leaves) chopped fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ~1 1/2 for bread; 1/2 tablespoon for bruchette
- 1/2 teaspoon red wine vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper
- 1/2 loaf French baguette or crusty Italian bread (5-7 slices)
- 1/4 garlic salt
- 2-3 sprigs Italian parsley

Preparation
Step 1
Combine first 4 ingredients in bowl. Add 1/2 tablespoon oilive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Mix well. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Bread:
Slice bread diagonally. Combine 1 1/2 tablespoon olive oil, with garlic salt. Brush both sides of bread and broil 2 minutes.
