Ingredients

2 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
3 1/2 c. (approx.) flour
6 tbsp. syrup
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
jam

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the first 7 ingredients. ADD ONLY ENOUGH FLOUR TO ROLL DOUGH OUT THIN. Cut and bake 350 until light brown. While warm put two cookies together with jam in between.
