This recipe is from Campbell's, I found it in a magazine and decided to test it while on vacation at Towering Pines Resort in Northern Minnesota. It was a huge hit, no work and great flavor! I will make this recipe again and again!

Ingredients

  • 3-3 1/2 lb. Boneless Beef Bottom, Round Roast or Chuck Pot Roast
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) Campbell's Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (I used the Healthy Request version)
  • 1 Pouch (2 oz) Dry Onion Soup Mix
  • The recipe calls for 6 Red Potatoes halved and 6 meduim Carrots, cut into 2" pieces but I did not add these.

Preparation

Step 1

Stir soup, onion soup mix and potatoes and carrots (if you are using them) together in a 4 1/2 Qt slow cooker. Add beef and turn to coat.
Cover and cook on Low setting for 8 to 9 hours or until beef is fork tender.

If you are in a hurry cook on High setting for 4 to 5 hours.

This recipe is also perfect for Venison.
