Ingredients
- 2 TBS chopped fresh basil
- 1 TBS fresh thyme
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh oregano
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
- 2 Tbls olive oil
- 2 Tbsp butter, softened
- 2 6-8 oz beef tenderloin steaks
- Salt and pepper

Step 1
In a small bowl combine basil, thyme and oregano; set aside. Sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper.
In a large cast iron or stainless steel skillet cook and stir garlic in olive oil over medium low heat about 4 minutes, do not let it brown. With a slotted spoon remove garlic from skillet and set aside. Increase heat to medium high. Cook steaks in skillet, turning once. Allow 10 to 13 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness. Transfer steaks to serving platter. Add butter to pan and cook until the butter just begins to brown. Add garlic and herbs to the pan, which creates the De Burgos sauce. Top each steak with sauce. Enjoy.
