Ingredients
- === STARTER ===
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup bread flour
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon yeast
- === BREAD ===
- 1/4 cup warm buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vinegar - any kind
- 2 tablespoon olive oil or margarine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups bread flour
- (can use mixture of rye, or wheat)
- 1 1/2 teaspoon yeast

Preparation
Step 1
Stir STARTER ingredients together in order given. Cover with plastic and
set in warm location for 6 to 8 hours, overnight is best.
Place starter in bread pan, and add remaining ingredients in the order
recommended by your machine's manufacturer. Process on appropriate cycle
and light crust setting!
This recipe yields a 2 pound loaf.
