Ingredients

  • 3

    cups sugar

  • 6

    T. flour

  • 6

    T. cocoa

  • 1

    t. vanilla

  • Pinch of salt

  • 2

    cups water

  • 4

    eggs, separated

  • 1

    lg. can evaporated milk

  • 1/2

    stick real butter

  • 2

    baked pie shells

Directions

Mix sugar, flour and cocoa and salt in a large glass, microwave safe bowl. Add water and stir well, then add milk and vanilla. Stir yolks until creamy, then add some of your chocolate mixture with the yolks until mixed well. Add that mixture back to the chocolate mixture and add butter. Stir well. Place bowl in microwave and cook on high for 5 min. Take out and stir. Cook another 4 min. and stir. If not thick enough, cook for 2 min. Pour equally into pie shells and top with meringue. Bake 350* until lightly browned.
