Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, cut into small chunks

Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in the butter with a pastry cutter or 2 knives, until crumbly.
Place half of the mixture into a 10-inch deep dish pie plate that has been coated with baking spray. Press firmly with your fingers, shaping the mixture over the bottom and sides to form a crust. Fill the crust with your desired pie filling.
Sprinkle the remaining crumbs over the pie filling and bake according to the filling instructions, or until the crumbs are golden and the filling is bubbly.
