Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 to 5 cups (6 oz.) angel cake cubes
  • 1 (3.4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 (3-oz.) pkg. strawberry-flavored gelatin
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1 10-oz. pkg. frozen strawberry slices

Step 1

Place angel cake cubes in a 9"x 9"x 1/5" baking dish. In mixing bowl, combine instant pudding and milk; add ice cream. Beat at low speed until well blended. Pour over cake cubes. Set aside until firm. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add frozen berries. Stir until gelatin begins to thicken. Pour over pudding; do not stir. Chill until set. Scoop dessert into glass serving dishes for a lovely presentation.
