Ingredients

  • 1 recipe of dough
  • 3 tablespoons of soft butter
  • 6 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of currents (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon - nutmeg
  • 6-8 Cortland apples
  • ½ cup maple syrup

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Prepare your filling by mixing soft butter, sugar, currents, walnuts and cinnamon.
3. Peel and core the apples. Fill the center with the filling.
4. Roll your dough and cut in required squares.
5. Place an apple in each and close. Place in a glass rectangle pan to cook in the oven and cover with the maple syrup.
6. Brush with maple syrup.
7. Cook for about 40 minutes, basting regularly.

You can serve with cream or ice cream.
