Preparation

Step 1

Mix 2 c. flour, 1 c. salt, 4 tsp. cream of tartar
Mix and add to flour: 2 c. water, 3 tbsp. cooking oil, several drops food coloring.
Stir to mix.
Put into frying pan (300 degrees), stir until it forms a ball (HOT!- moms kneed when cool enough to touch!)
Store in airtight container.
