Chocolate Oatmeal Cake

Ingredients

• 1 3/4 c boiling water
• 1 c quick oats
• 1 c sugar
• 1/2 c margarine
• 1 c packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 34 c flour
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tbspn baking cocoa
• 3/4 c nuts
• 2 c chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Pour water over oats and let stand for 10 mins
Add sugar, marg, brown sugar & eggs
Mix well
Sift in flour, salt, soda & cocoa
Add nuts and half choc chips
Pour into greased and floured cake pan 10x15
Sprinkle remaining choc chips on top
Bake @ 350 for 30-40 mins
