Homemade Frozen Yogurt
By Linda1128
My frozen yogurt recipe couldn’t be simpler. It only has three ingredients: plain yogurt, cream and homemade freezer jam. I have an overabundance of freezer-jam and I didn’t even make any this year. Last year, when faced with all the lovely berries that grow here in such abundance, I… well, I just went overboard. If you do not have the same problem, I’ll give instructions for using fresh or frozen fruit.

Ingredients
- 2 cups plain yogurt, not low-fat (I use my homemade yogurt)
- 3/4 cup cream (heavy, whipping or my favorite: skimmed from the top of raw milk)
- 1 cup of jam (I used strawberry) or 1 cup of chopped fruit and your preferred sweetener to taste (I’d go with 1/4 cup of honey)
- Optional: 1 teaspoon of vanilla
