Ingredients
- For the Simple Syrup:
- 1 tablespoon Cointreau
- 2 tablespoons cranberry juice or cranberry juice cocktail
- 1/2 teaspoon Rose’s lime juice or fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon Simple Syrup (recipe follows)
- 2 cups ice
- chilled champagne
- 1 twist of lemon
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar

Step 1
Make the Simple Syrup:
Bring water and sugar to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium heat, about 1 to 2 minutes, or until sugar is dissolved. Chill and store in covered container in refrigerator to use as needed.
In a pitcher or shaker mix Cointreau, cranberry juice, lime juice and Simple Syrup together over ice to chill.
Strain Cointreau mixture into a champagne flute. Top off glass with 4 to 5 ounces champagne. Garnish with a twist of lemon and serve.
