Ingredients

  • 3 shallots, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup white mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1 cup portobello mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 packages frozen phyllo tartlet shells (about 30)

Preparation

Step 1

Saute the shallots and garlic in the butter in a saucepan. Add the mushrooms and cook until all of the liquid has evaporated. Add the wine. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until almost all of the wine has evaporated. Stir in the parsley, whipping cream and lemon juice. Cook until heated through. Season with salt and pepper. Let frozen shells stand for 10 minutes. Spoon the mushroom mixture into the shells. Place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 3 to 5 minutes.
