Country-Style Creamy Chicken

Ingredients
- 3 skinless, boneless chicken breasts (4 oz. each)
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 6 mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. white pepper
- 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp. ketchup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 (8 oz.) package egg noodles, cooked

Preparation
Step 1
1. Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces. Saute in butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until light brown on all sides.
2. Add mushrooms, onion and garlic. cook for about 4 minutes. Remove chicken and vegetables with a slotted spoon.
3. Blend flour, salt and pepper into pan juices; add broth gradually. Cook, stirring continually until thickened, about 6 minutes.
4. Stir in ketchup, sour cream, chicken and vegetables. Heat to serving temperature, about 3 minutes; do not boil. Serve over noodles.
DOUBLE THE SAUCE!!
Make Ahead
The sauce in step 3 can be make up to 1 day ahead, covered and stored in the refrigerator. Reheat and pour over freshly cooked noodles.
