Ingredients
- Brownie base:
- ∙ 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- ∙ 1/2 cup butter
- ∙ 2 eggs
- ∙ 1 cup sugar
- ∙ 1/2 cup flour
- ∙ 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- Mint cream:
- ∙ 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- ∙ 3 tablespoons butter
- ∙ 2 tablespoons light cream (or milk) and
- ∙ 3/4 tsp. Peppermint extract
- Chocolate Glaze:
- . 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate (can use chocolate chips)
- ∙ 2 tablespoons butter

Step 1
Brownie base:
Melt chocolate and butter together. In bowl, beat eggs and sugar together. Add flour, nuts and chocolate-butter mixture. Bake in greased and floured 9 inch square pan at 350* for 25 minutes. Let cool.
Mint Cream:
Beat together all ingredients for cream until smooth. Spread mint cream over brownies; cover and chill until firm (about one hour).
Chocolate Glaze:
Melt ingredients for chocolate glaze together over hot water. Drizzle over top of mint cream and spread. Cool and cut into bars or squares.
