Ingredients

  • Pepperidge Farm Bread
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 5 or 6 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups milk

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in 9x12 baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar on butter.

Layer slices of bread to cover bottom of baking dish.

Beat the eggs with milk and pour over bread. Refrigerate overnight.

Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Can also be placed under broiler for a couple of minutes to brown top of french toast.

Flip over when cutting so brown sugar mixture is on top.
