Sausage, Egg & Cheddar Farmer’s Breakfast 0 Picture

Ingredients

  • 6 lg eggs
  • 1/3 c 2% milk
  • 1/2 t dried parsley flakes
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 6 ozs bulk pork sausage
  • 1 T butter
  • 1 1/2 c frozen cubed hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1/4 c chopped onion
  • 1 c shreddedcheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Whisk eggs, milk, parsley & salt; set aside. In 9 in cast iron skillet or other heavy skillet, cook sausage over med heat until no longer pink; remove & drain. In same skillet heat butter over med heat. Add potatoes & onion; cook & stir until tender, 5-7 min. Return sausage to pan.

Add egg mixture; cook & stir until almost set. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover & cook until cheese is melted, 1-2 min.
