Italian-Style Meatloaf

Ingredients
- • 2 lbs. lean hamburg
- • ½ lb. sausage, remove casing
- • 2 eggs
- • 1 ½ cups tomato sauce
- • 1 cup bread crumbs
- • 2 tsp. dried basil or 1 tbsp. fresh basil
- • 1 tbsp. dried parsley or 2 tbsp. fresh parsley
- • ½ tsp oregano
- • ½ cup parmesan cheese
- • 5-6 pieces of ham or prosciutto
- • Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°
In a large bowl, mix hamburg, sausage, eggs, ½ tomato sauce, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese and spices.
Lay a large piece of wax paper on counter and place meat mixture on top. Flatten meat in a rectangle shape, about a 9x13 inch shape.
Line flatten meat with ham or prosciutto; top with cheese.
Roll up jelly style tucking in the ends and place in baking dish seam side down.
Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Pour 1 cup tomato sauce over top of meatloaf, sprinkle with little mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
