Preparation

Step 1

Place frozen loaf in a plastic bag coated with a little olive oil. Tie bag and defrost in refrigerator overnight (or according to package directions).

Allow dough to rise at room temperature for 2-3 hours before prep time (if using homemade dough, allow to rise twice).

Defrost spinach & drain well.

Fry garlic & onion in oil until clear.

Spread dough on lightly floured board, coaxing it to rectangular flat shape (about 10" by 16"). Spoon spinach and onion/garlic over dough & sprinkle w/ parmesan. Salt and pepper to taste. Spread sliced pepperoni & mozzarella as you like over dough.

Roll dough over filling, pinch & form a crescent shape. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and brush with oil. Poke holes in top w/ fork.

Bake at 350F, 15-20 minutes or until top is brown.

Cool slightly before serving.
