Ingredients
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 5 oz evaporated milk
- 1 bag (14oz) caramels, unwrapped
- 1 bag (11.5oz) milk chocolate chips

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In large bowl, combine cake mix, butter, and half can of evaporated milk. Mix just until moist. Press half of dough evently into greased & floured 9x13 baking dish. Bake for 6 minutes.
Melt caramels and remaining evaporated milk in small saucepan over low heat until melted and mixed thoroughly. Spread evenly over hot cake layer. Crumble remaining dough on top. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake for 15-18 more minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
