Cornbread by mom

Ingredients

• 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
• 2 eggs
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1/4 cup butter

Preparation

Step 1

Place butter in iron skillet and place in oven while oven preheats to 400 degreese. Mix cornbread mix, milk, and eggs until just moistened. Remove iron skillet from oven and swirl butter to cover all surfaces. Pour cornbread batter into skillet. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown.
