French Plum Tart

Ingredients
- 200 g sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 250 g unsalted butter
- 300 g all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 250 g plums
- 1 egg
- 50 g ground hazelnuts
- 1 egg white

Preparation
Step 1
1. Whisk the egg yolks with sugar until it dissolves completely.
2. Mix the flour with baking powder. add the mixed flour and baking powder to the yolk and sugar mixture. mix thoroughly. add the butter and mix until the batter gets smooth. cover with plastic foil and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
3. Wash the plums, cut them in half and take out the pit.
4. Whisk the egg white until stiff. mix the ground hazelnuts with the egg. lightly mix the prepared egg white with the nut mixture.
5. Spread half of the batter on the bottom of the baking pan. spread the hazelnut mixture as a next layer. place on the plums and cover them with the other half of the batter.
6. Bake in a preheated oven (200°C) for about 50 minutes. when the cake is cooled down, sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
