Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 2 c. half and half
- 2 1/4 tsp. vanilla (or vanilla bean)

Step 1
Cook the first five ingredients over medium low heat, until mixture coats a spoon and is at least 160 degrees. Cool in ice. Refrigerate overnight. Freeze according to ice cream maker instructions.
