- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Maple syrup or confectioners' sugar

Step 1
About 30 minutes before serving: In electric skillet, heat 1/2 inch oil to 400 degrees F. (In a heavy saucepan over medium-high heat, heat oil to 400 degrees F. In medium bowl, stir 1 Tbsp. salad oil and next 6 ingredients just until blended, using a fork. When oil is hot, drop batter by heaping tablespoons into hot oil; fry 3-5 minutes until browned, turning once. With a slotted spoon, remove fritters to paper towels; drain. Serve with maple syrup or confectioners' sugar.
