Oven Fried Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) unsalted butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 2 eggs
- 8 pieces bone-in chicken, skin removed, if desired

Step 1
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Put butter on a large non-stick jellyroll pan or baking sheet with sides. Put into oven just long enough to melt the butter, about 5 minutes. Remove from oven.
2. Put the flour, sesame seeds, baking powder and garlic salt into a large plastic food bag. Close bag and shake to mix well. Beat eggs in a shallow dish. Dip each piece of chicken in the eggs to coat; let excess drip off. Add chicken to the bag of flour. Shake to coat well.
3. Put the coated chicken in the pan with the melted butter; turn the chicken pieces to coat them with the butter. Bake until chicken is golden and juices run clear, 50-60 minutes. (For more browning, increase oven temperature to 425 degrees for the last 10 minutes.)
